1) Complete the Volunteer Application Form via the online form below, or collect a printed copy at the Volunteer Bureau Office. Once the application has been received the Bureau will send out for your two references. When at least one of these has been returned the Bureau will then invite you for an interview.

2) Interview – This will be to identify what specific roles you wish to consider. The Bureau will do it’s best to provide a number of alternatives.

3) The Bureau will vet all volunteers who wish to volunteer with children or vulnerable adults. This normally takes up to 4 weeks.

4) Once placed the Volunteer Bureau will stay in contact with you to assess how your new role is going. If you are not sure or don’t think the role is for you then another role can be offered.

Expenses – It is normally up to each placement to provide expenses for each volunteer. However if expenses are not available the Volunteer Bureau can provide.
