Older Person's Outreach Centres

No personal care involved. While staff would be dealing with the older person, volunteers would be helping with the tea and doing light domestic duties, provide group activities, i.e. arts & craft, cookery, reading or 1-1 activities. 

Dromore S/C, Clayton Hall Dromre. Mon or Fri 1.30 pm-4.30pm

 

Banbridge S/C, Rugby Club Banbridge (temp) Tue or Wed between 10.00am - 3.00pm

Physical Disability & Mental Health

 

 

Volunteers to help clients on a 1-1 basis in either group or individual activities.  Assist clients shopping etc

 

Depending on need anytime between  10.am - 3.00pm

Older Person's Day Centre

 

 

 

Volunteers to help with activities within the centre.  i.e.group activities such as art & crafts, cookery, reading.  Provide 1-1 support i.e. talking with the individual, taking them for a walk etc.

Would like volunteers to assist residents with their shopping, provide entertainment i.e. music, arts & Crafts, cookery, flower arranging

Possible team of 3-4 volunteers to assist young girl to take part in leisure activities etc. Has interest in music shopping and cinema.

Help build up friendship and confidence

 

 

 

2-3 hours per week

between Mon - Fri 10.00 - 3.00

 

(ideally a pool of volunteers would be required to provide

ongoing support and build friendship)
